The majority of the fireplaces we sell are made by our own time-served craftsmen, on-site here in Clay Cross, Derbyshire. Great care is taken to produce surrounds of superb quality and extreme beauty.

The raw materials; timber, marble slab, natural stone, travertine - arrive and are cut, polished, sawn, moulded, measured and hand finished to perfection. We produce stunning designs in rustic oak, very fine marble and limestone (including local fossil limestone) to name just a few materials. The natural products in our range are unique pieces, with the veined beauty of marble and the characteristic grain of rustic timber having beautiful features special to each individual fireplace.

Our designs range from simple, clean sleek lines to the last word in classic, complete with ornate detailing.

Designs can look completely different when made in alternative materials, for example some designs can look wonderfully classic when produced in marble, yet gain a creative and more contemporary edge when cut in limestone.

Made-to-measure designs at no extra cost

Most of the designs can be made to measure for you (generally at no extra cost), as well as being personal to your room or home. This can be very useful when you need to plan around carpet cut-outs, fitted furniture etc.
